Type A: CAR – Auto Hatchback / Stationwagon
Our Type A vehicle is a small to medium-sized car, perfect for up to 5 passengers. Ideal for couples or small groups, this car offers great comfort and efficiency, making it the perfect choice for exploring Norfolk Island.
- Rental Price: $85 per day

Type B: LARGE CAR – SUV / 4WD
The Type B vehicle is a spacious 5-seater SUV (such as the Rav 4, CR-V, or X-Trail) or a 6-seater large Station Wagon, ideal for families or small groups looking for added comfort and extra luggage space.

Insurance and Rental Policies
At Norfolk Island Hire Cars, we prioritise your peace of mind. All rentals come with standard insurance coverage, including liability protection and third-party insurance. The standard excess is $1,000.
- Insurance Options: Standard insurance included, $1,000 excess.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s licence required (international drivers are welcome)
- Minimum Age: 18 years (age surcharge may apply for drivers under 25)
- Fuel Policy: Full to full – please return the vehicle with the same fuel level it had when collected
